Monofilament netting is made of a single clear strand of twine. Our Monofilament netting is double knotted, double selvage top and bottom and depth stretched. Mesh size under 1 in. square will be single knot. Our Mono is clear with a purplish tint.

TYPICAL BREAKING STRENGTHS
Here are typical breaking strengths for monofilament nylon twines used in double knot gill nettings. Netting strengths are lower than twine strengths because of the knots. Double knots have less shearing action than single knots and are about 10% stronger.

When ordering nets or nettings, be sure they are the mesh you need: Square measure is one-half of stretch measure. Both square and stretched measurements in our catalog are based on standard method of measurement - from center of knot to center of knot.

Hello Good People of Memphis Net & Twine, Thank you for your prompt shipping. I think that I might order a stronger mono next time, not that the #6 is weak, but it doesn't do well in some of my situations. However, it is excellent in the clear water for catching fish. For many years I have heard people mention Memphis Net & Twine when ordering netting supplies for fish nets in South Georgia and I expect that to continue in the future. Thanks for your quality.
