Rugged replaceable element is mounted externally for safety and long life.

This lead melting pot holds four pounds of lead, sufficient for nearly all casting requirements using lead or other low temperature alloys.

A cast iron body holds heat while a cool plastic handle prevents burns.

It is equally effective for production as well as individual job requirements.

120 Volts AC and 500 Watts.

The Lead Melter's Dream Tool

My father started melting lead with a Hot Pot 1 50 years ago. He gave it to me and I did until it died a natural death and went with the Hot Pot 2. It's much improved with the element on the OUTSIDE of the pot. I melt scrap lead for ingots with it and to make bullets and fish sinkers. Works great!

Hot Pot Great Product

I recently purchased and ran a test melt to verify performance. With cold pot I filled it with lead and plugged it in and had a full pot of melted lead 16 minutes later. I plan to use this with a spin casting machine and will pour approx 8 ounces per casting. So i will pour mold and add 8 oz of lead to the pot and then demold the metal castings and then reassemble mold and repour. I anticipate the Hot Pot will melt lead faster than I recycle the mold so it more that meets my expectation. Also made in USA.
