torn up in one night

Put the traps out in a local pond with some bait over night. Retrieved them in the morning torn up. Not sure what got in them, but they sure did get out!

This net works GREAT. Catches everything from shrimp to mullet... I am getting one for my self my boys have taken the one I just got. They use it every day for getting fresh live bait.

Not as good as they once were....

This year's minnow traps are made of plastic netting and much weaker than in the past. We use the traps for high school amphibian research in our ponds. We have had a handful tear on the first or second use. We have been able to get 3-4 years use out of the traps in the past, that won't be the case this year. Not sure what type to buy next.
