This ready-to-use trawl is for small skiff shrimpers, bait fishermen and researchers. It is available in various sizes.

  • 8 ft. - Two-Seam Design, Body Netting is 1-3/8 in. #7, Bag Netting is 1-1/4 in. #12, Trawl Board is 16 in. x 9 in., Towlines are 3/8 in. x 75 ft.
  • 12 ft. - Two-Seam Design, Body Netting is 1-1/2 in. #7, Bag Netting is 1-1/4 in. #12, Trawl Board is 24 in. x 12 in., Towlines are 3/8 in. x 100 ft.
  • 16 ft. - Two-Seam Design, Body Netting is 1-1/2 in. #7, Bag Netting is 1-1/4 in. #12, Trawl Board is 30 in. x 15 in., Towlines are 3/8 in. x 100 ft.
  • 20 ft. - Semi-Ballon Design, Body Netting is 1-1/2 in. #7, Bag Netting is 1-1/4 in. #15, Trawl Board is 30 in. x 15 in., Towlines are 1/2 in. x 100 ft.
  • 25 ft. - Semi-Ballon Design, Body Netting is 1-1/2 in. #7, Bag Netting is 1-1/4 in. #15, Trawl Board is 36 in. x 18 in., Towlines are 1/2 in. x 100 ft.


    • All sizes treated in Green Dip, full cut, and hung on 3/8 in. poly dacron. Instructions included.

Great shrimp net

The new shrimp net I recently ordered from you is working great. The net might be small but it's pulling in big numbers. After a couple trawls to get it dialed in I've been hauling up 30-40lbs of fresh shrimp every time!! Thanks for a great product Tom H

The quality of the trawl is great. My only issue is the size of the mesh, which is too large for our needs.

Great net

Great net! I found the doors to be a bit unwieldy for one person to handle on the 16' net so I switched down to the next smaller size and had great results. Customer service has always been top-notch with Memphis N&T.
